The tubular lattice pattern on the inner sphere (21) of the golf ball (20) of the present invention has interconnected projections (40) that form a plurality of hexagons and pentagons in the preferred embodiment. The preferred embodiment has a parting line (100) that alternates upward and downward along adjacent rows of hexagons.
