The invention relates to novel substituted benzoylcyclohexane diones of the general formula (I), wherein A1 represents a single bond or alkandiyl (alkylene) with 1 to 3 carbon atoms, A2 represents alkandiyl (alkylene) with 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R?1, R2, R3, R4 and R5¿ have the meaning indicated in the description. The invention further relates to their intermediates, to methods for producing them and to their use as herbicides.
