The invention relates to a circuit arrangement and device for regulation and control of the speed of a motor vehicle, comprising a functional group for control of the speed, corresponding to a pre-set value given by the driver and a functional group to limit the speed by controlling and/or regulating intervention at a limiting value determined by the driving conditions, pre-set criteria and the set-speed. Said circuit arrangement (4) for regulation and control of the speed is arranged as part of a complete system (1 to 4), comprising an ABS, an ASR, an ESP and similar systems and evaluates regulatory parameters from the wheelslip control systems (1 to 3) to limit the speed in pre-set situations.
