In the case of an injection moulding device with an injection cylinder (1), a baseplate (15) and drive and transmission systems for the axial and rotating movements of the plastifying screw, the compact construction is horizontally displaceable. The injection movement of the injection screw (4) is achieved by means of connecting rod or a lever pair (18) connected to the rear bearing (5) and displaces the injection screw (4) relative to the baseplate (15). Transverse forces can be almost completely avoided with the lever pair (18). An advantageous application of electric motor drives is thus achieved, in particular of servo motors.
