The invention relates to a blade which is suitable for cutting various solid, viscous, and hard-wearing materials. The blade comprises a plate, on which the cutting edge is configured by the formation of a bevelled edge of the broad surface of the plate. The teeth are provided with hollows that lie at a distance from the points of said teeth on the bevelled edge of the broad surface of the plate.
