The reducing unit (45) for reducing high-frequency portions of the audio signals is additionally configured according to a frequency-selective audio signal amplification that is preset by the sound influencing unit (46). The inventive playback device makes it possible to achieve a level reduction, which is dependent on disturbances and which is independent of a sound presetting.
