摘要：
A storage device and a method for operating a storage device is introduced. A storage medium (1) for storing data in form of marks (5) is scanned by at least one probe (21) in a scanning mode. A control unit (3) provides a pulsed reading signal (RP) for data detecting purposes in said scanning mode. Said storage medium (1) comprises marks for determining a clock of said pulsed signal (RP).
