The invention relates to a hinge connection (10), such as hinges (e.g. 26) or the like, between two flat-lying adjacent components (12; 14) made of sheet metal or plastic plates, especially sections of furniture fittings. The invention is characterized in that both components (12,14) which can be rotated in relation to each other are permanently deformed in the same direction in the region of the hinge axis at right angles to the flat sides; the deformed areas form cup-like projections (16, 18) having a round cross-section at right angles to the hinge axis (D); the cup-like projection (16) of the first component (12) engages into the cup-like projection (18) of the second component (14). The invention also relates to a furniture fitting, especially a furniture hinge (26) having a multi-hinge mechanism, comprising at least one guide rod (28) or hinge lever which can be rotationally hinged to another hinge part (30) according to one of Claims Nos. 1-5, characterized in that two spatially distanced hinge connections (10) which can however be rotated around the same hinge axis (D) are provided between the guide rod (28) or hinge lever and the other hinge part (30).
