Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the sensorless, electrical measurement of the position of a rotor of a permanently excited synchronous machine which is fed by a converter, by means of measuring signals which are supplied to an evaluation system which determines the electrical position of the rotor according to the angle of the spatial current indicator for an applied stator flux pattern. The evolution of values of the differential spatial current indicator varies in an approximately sinusoidal manner with the double of the value of the electrical rotor position angle sought. The inventive method, which can be used especially for stationary or blocked machines, is characterised in that the evolution of values is formed from two respective successive measurements for an approximately inverse magnetisation, in such a way that the superposition of the applied stator flux and permanently excited rotor flux enables, due to saturation, an evolution of values of the differential spatial current indicator having two different maximum values, from which the electrical rotor position angle sought is directly and clearly differentiated to 360°.
