The invention relates to a drying device for vehicles with at least one blower (4) arranged on a frame (1), which may be pivoted about a first horizontal axis (8) and a drying nozzle (5), connected thereto. In conventional devices of this type, the blower air is firstly fed upwards and then directed downwards again within the nozzle, which limits the efficiency of the device. According to the invention, a drying device with improved efficiency of vehicle drying may be achieved, whereby the drying nozzle (5) is arranged on the frame (1) such that the above may be pivoted about a second horizontal axis (9) and the blower (4) and the drying nozzle (5) may be pivoted in opposing directions, by means of an actuator drive (6).
