A method for producing a decoration member, in which a pattern sheet is made by printing a transparent resin sheet with coloring ink and forming a colored pattern part. The pattern sheet is then turned over such that the colored pattern part touches the surface of a base member and laid on the base member. Subsequently, the pattern sheet is pressed against the base member and the colored pattern part is heated and bonded thermally to the surface of the base member and the pattern sheet is bonded to the base member.
