The invention relates to a narrow-sectioned elastic bearing for elastically connecting portions of material, said bearing being formed by neighbouring portions that are devoid of material, and to a force-transmission device for a force-measuring device, in particular weighing apparatus comprising at least one elastic bearing of this type. The force transmission device has a fixed portion, a lever mechanism, which comprises at least one translation lever (9, 15, 17) and introduces the force into a measuring transformer and at least one longitudinally rigid, flexible coupling element (13, 14, 16), which has at least one narrow section and introduces the force into the lever mechanism. According to the invention, the lever(s) (9, 15, 17) is/are supported on the fixed portion (4) and/or on a lever that is connected in series (9, 15) by means of an elastic bearing (10, 20, 12) comprising a narrow section. At least one narrow-section portion (21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91) is delimited by concave portions (22, 23, 32, 33, 42, 43, 52, 53, 62, 63, 72, 73, 82, 83, 92, 93) that are devoid of material and at least one of the portions devoid of material that delimit the narrow section (31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91) has a shape in the direction of the narrow-section portion (31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91) that forms a further narrowing (36, 46, 56, 66, 76, 86, 96) of the narrow-section portion (31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91).
