The invention relates to a device for guiding and turning pallet belts on a passenger conveyor with low pallet turning height, comprising a number of co-operating pallet bars of little length, viewed in the running direction of the pallet belt, several support elements, which, viewed across the width of the pallet, are provided beneath the transport region of the pallet belt and several drive elements, embodied in the form of a belt, positively connected outside the transport region to the pallet bars.
