The invention relates to a device and method for the visualisation of objects (3) in an aerosol (4) such as, for example, mist and advantageous uses thereof. A light source (1) emits light on an object (3), located in the aerosol (4). A moving fluid flow is applied between the light source (1) and the object (3) and/or between the object (3) and an observer (11). The moving fluid flow (10) is advantageously located close to the light source (1) and comprises water, whilst the aerosol is preferably mist, which surrounds the light source (1) and the object (3).
