An article comprising a first layer consisting essentially of a substantially solid perhalogenated polymer, a second layer consisting essentially of a substantially solid partially-fluorinated polymer, and a bonding interface between said first layer and said second layer consisting essentially of a first material having the composition of said first layer and a second material having the composition of said second layer. Also provided is a sheet comprising a first layer comprising a perhalogenated polymer, a second layer comprising a partially-fluorinated polymer, and a bonding interface between said first layer and said second layer consisting essentially of a first material having the composition of said first layer and a second material having the composition of said second layer.
