According to the invention, the verifier rod is pivotally joined to the movable point switch part (3) in a vertical plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rail. The verifier rod comprises at least one rod (8) having a circular cross-section. In its area tightly inserted inside the verifier housing (12), said rod (8), on the periphery thereof, supports at least one switching flank (13) that interacts with a switch contact (16).
