A sheet inserted between a punch guide unit (31) and a guide member (32) is punched by moving a hole punch vertically through a gear (8) and a punch drive gear (9) by driving a spline shaft (13). When lengths of the right and left margins of the sheet in which a predetermined number of holes are punched are different from each other, the length of the left margin is corrected by manipulating increase/decrease switches (44) to correct a position of a first punch hole from a left side of the sheet.
