In the constant velocity universal joint having a plurality of vehicle body attachment flanges (23) provided apart from each other in the outer circumferential direction of the joint outer ring (21) and partly protruding in the radial direction. The joint outer ring (21) has a flower outer circumferential shape corresponding to the inner circumferential shape, and the vehicle body attachment flanges (23) are provided at outer recesses (25) positioned between the track grooves 22) of the joint outer ring (21).
