The invention concerns an infinitely variable transmission with power shunting having at least two operating modes, whereof the components are distributed between two power paths connecting in parallel the heat engine (130) to the vehicle wheels (133), said means including at least three planetary gear trains (137, 138, 141, 142), two electrical machines (131, 132), at least one reduction stage (136, 139, 140, 143), and control means distributing differently the power between the two power paths based on the operating mode thereof.
