摘要：
A bodily fluid sampling device (30) includes a flexible test strip (36), a lancet (32), and a deflection mechanism (44). The test strip (36) is biased to be positioned over the incision site formed by the lancet (32). The deflection mechanism (44) positions the test strip (36) away from the incision site during lancing so as to allow the lancet (32) to have clear access to the incision site. Due to the flexible nature of the test strip (36), after lancing the incision, the test strip (36) returns to the original position so as to collect fluid from the incision.
