A viewing panel for a photo (1), the viewing panel having a generally flat frontal surface, the rear surface of the panel having at least a portion that is non-flat (3), the rear surface having a masking layer (4) applied to at least a portion of the rear surface, such that the ornamentation created by the non-flat portion of the rear surface, and the masking layer, is able to be seen from the frontal side of the panel, the ornamentation and masking layer being viewed through the clear body of the panel (1), the non-flat portion of the rear surface, combined with masking layer, creating a framing effect around any photograph or the like that is displayed and viewed through the panel.
