An electronic device (10) includes a microphone (1), a microphone holder (2) holding the microphone (1) therein, and a case (3) encasing the microphone holder (2) therein. The microphone holder (2) has a first portion (23) at which the microphone holder (2) makes contact with a first inner surface (31) of the case (3), and a second portion (24) at which the microphone holder (2) makes contact with a part (4) of the electronic device or a second inner surface (31A) of the case (3) facing the first inner surface (31), the microphone holder (2) being sandwiched between the first inner surface (31) and the part (4). At least one of the first and second portions (23, 24) of the microphone holder (2) is disposed more outwardly than an outer edge of the microphone (1) in a plane which is in parallel with the first inner surface (31).
