Phospholipids in the peripheral blood and the fatty acid compositions thereof are determined. In particular, the contents of phosphaditylserine/phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine in the peripheral blood and the fatty acid compositions thereof are determined. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a method of evaluating a remedy for NASH useful for NASH patients, a method of judging NASH and a remedy therefor.
