摘要：
The invention concerns a cooking appliance using solid fuel, of the barbecue type, comprising a gril consisting of a box (1) for containing the solid fuel (C), a grill support (3) capable of supporting at least one preferably removable grill (4) and an igniting device. The invention is characterized in that said igniting device comprises a very high frequency electromagnetic energy generator or magnetron (5) capable of generating a microwave generation and a waveguide (6) connecting said magnetron (5) to said gril (1) for directing the microwaves into said gril.
