The invention relates to a fiber-guiding duct for an open-ended spinning device in order to pneumatically connect a sliver-dissolving device in an uninterrupted manner to a spinning rotor that revolves in a vacuum-impinged rotor housing at a great rotational speed. Said fiber-guiding duct is composed of at least one wear-resistant, tubular duct insert. According to the invention, an oversized duct insert (18A or 18B) is cast into an injection-molded or diecast component (12, 43), said duct insert (18A or 18B) obtaining its final dimensions only during the casting process by pressing the duct insert (18A or 18B) against at least one associated interior supporting slide.
