摘要：
The invention relates to a spindle brake which consists of no more than five parts. Said spindle brake can be actuated in an ergonomically economical manner due to the mounting of the actuation element on the brake, it can be constructed in an easy manner without using tools, and can be assembled in a rapid manner due to the one-armed brake lever. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the brake levers thereof (8, 9) are mounted on bearing journals (6, 7) which are arranged on the bearing (1) of the spindle and can be actuated by an actuating plate (14), which can also be pivoted, on the bearing journal (13) on the bearing housing. The brake is completed by a bow spring which detaches the brake blocks and by a bow spring (19) which pushes the actuating plate back.
