摘要:
A grinding apparatus and a manufacturing method for a power transmission chain pin, wherein a peripheral groove (5a) is formed in a disk-like grinding wheel (5), and its both side walls are formed in grinding surfaces (5b), and a load pin (55) is rotatingly moved by a rotating carrier (3) relative to the grinding wheel (5) rotating about its center axis (5z) to pass through a clearance between the grinding surfaces (5b) so as to simultaneously grind both end faces (55a) of the load pin (55). Thus, a time required in a grinding step can be reduced more than that required in a conventional one where the end faces are ground for each end face.
