A chain-extended fatty acid modified hydroxy functional epoxy amine adduct ABC which contains urethane groups and comprises moieties derived from epoxy resins A , fatty acids B and amines C , which adduct is chain extended by addition of polyfunctional isocyanates D to the adducts ABC , a process for its production, and methods of use thereof in formulating air-drying aqueous coating compositions as well as one-pack and two-pack aqueous coating compositions
