The invention relates to a motor vehicle system for monitoring a tyre pressure comprising a central unit (2, 7), at least one trigger module (4) which is integrated into said central unit and connected thereto by means of a control line (3) and at least one tyre module (6) placed in the vehicle tyre (5), wherein said tyre module is connected to the central and trigger modules by means of wireless transmission technique and the inventive tyre pressure monitoring system comprises less trigger units than tyre modules.
