The invention relates to a hydraulic motorcycle brake system wherein the brake circuits thereof are provided with a valve switch (23, 24 or 23, 25) which prevents the pressure generated by the pump (9) from causing a reaction in the hand-operated or foot-operated master brake cylinder (7 or 13).
