The playing surface is formed from a resilient material and may be of polygonal or regular shape. The playing surface is provided with at least one scoring means, for example formed as an opening with a suspended pocket . The playing surface may be formed from a woven textile material into which is incorporated a resilient material such as lycra so that the playing surface as a whole can be stretched and physically deformed in two directions or combinations thereof .
