The invention relates to a method of receiving a frame comprising data packets protected by at least one error detection code. In order in particular to allow a synchronization on data packets, the method comprises: - a first check (93) that a data set which would be protected by an error detection code, does not comprise any error, the frame comprising the data set; - a synchronization on one of the packets comprising the set if the check indicates that the data set does not comprise any error. The invention also relates to a corresponding synchronization module and an apparatus implementing this module.
