It is disclosed a method of synchronizing a plurality of nodes in a circuit emulation service network including a first node, a second node and a third node, the first node and the second node being adjacent to the third node. The method comprises: a) transmitting from the first node to the third node a first synchronization message comprising a first information indicative of an origin of a first clock signal received by the first node; b) transmitting from the second node to the third node a second synchronization message comprising a second information indicative of an origin of a second clock signal received by the second node; c) processing the first information and the second information; d) selecting one of the first node and the second node as clock source node according to a result of the processing; and e) synchronizing the third node to the clock source node.
