A portable printer device (30) in which a plurality of paper rolls (200, 210) are held, comprises: a body (40) in which a single printing portion (31) and a plurality of paper roll hold portions (32-1, 32-2) are provided, the single printing portion (31) being provided for printing of each of the plurality of paper rolls (200, 210), each of the plurality of paper roll hold portions (32-1, 32-2) holding one of the plurality of paper rolls (200, 210); and a plurality of paper passages (81, 82) each provided to deliver a paper from one of the plurality of paper roll hold portions (32-1, 32-2) to the printing portion (31). A plurality of covers (50, 60) are supported on the body (40) so that the plurality of covers (50, 60) are rotatable independently, the plurality of covers (50, 60) being provided so that the plurality of covers (50, 60) are openable separately and closable in an overlapped manner, all the plurality of paper roll hold portions (32-1, 32-2) being enclosed in the plurality of covers (50, 60) when all the plurality of covers (50, 60) are closed. The plurality of paper passages (81, 82) are provided in respective spaces between the plurality of covers (50, 60), and the plurality of covers (50, 60) are openable separately such that a predetermined one of the plurality of paper roll hold portions (32-1, 32-2) is selectively openable.
