The invention relates to a device (1) for eliminating dust from dust-laden air, particularly for use in a vacuum cleaner. Said device (1) comprises a first cyclone separator against which air flows in a tangential direction as well as a cyclone separator against which air flows in an axial direction, which is disposed downstream of the first cyclone separator, and of which at least the air inlet is arranged within the tangential separator. In order for said device to have a simple design and be efficient, the air inlet is embodied as a nozzle (14) that expands like a funnel and protrudes into the air intake zone of the tangential separator.
