摘要：
An ink cartridge for use with a recording apparatus comprises: a cartridge case having a first surface and a second surface which intersects with the first surface; an ink housing region in the cartridge case; an ink outlet port from the cartridge case: a connection terminal of a circuit board having data storage means; and a circuit board attaching portion, The cartridge case comprises an opening for surrounding a positioning pin arranged in the recording apparatus in a state where the ink cartridge is mounted to the recording apparatus. The ink outlet port and the opening are arranged along the first surface of the cartridge case on a side of the first surface of the cartridge case. The connection terminal of the circuit board is provided along the second surface of the cartridge case on the side of the first surface of the cartridge case.
