摘要:
Controlling sheet flow in digital print engines along a paper path (42) in which the nip rollers (126,326) are driven independently by individual variable speed motors (29) and sheet position sensors (128,428) are disposed at each path gate and bend. The sensors provide sheet position and velocity signals to a controller which varies the speed of the individual nip drive motors according to an algorithm to prevent cumulative mis-positioning of the sheets and jamming.
