The protective casing (4) comprises a second material portion (7, 10) of a second metal material which is fixedly attached to the first material portion (5, 9). The second metal material has good soft soldering properties such that it is possible to provide a strong and tight connection between the second material portion (7, 10) of the protective casing (4) and a sheath (1a, 2a) of at least one of the cable parts (1, 2) by means of a soft soldering process.
