The novelty relates to lock furniture between a leaf and a stationary frame (29) of a window, door, or similar, the leaf and the frame (29) facing one another by means of rabbet surfaces (31). The lock furniture comprises locking elements in the form of a protruding bolt (28) and a closing part (1), one of which is mounted on the stationary frame (29) while the other one is mounted on the leaf. The locking elements can be moved relative to each other in the direction of the rabbet surfaces (31) and can engage with one another by means of said relative movement. The protruding bolt (28) and the closing part (1) grip each other in the engaged position by means of engaging surfaces (8) that extend in the direction of the rabbet surfaces (31) such that effective surfaces are created which extend perpendicular to the rabbet surfaces (31) and transversal thereto. The closing part (1) is provided with a base (2) and a top part (3) that extends over the base (2). The base (2) and the top part (3) are lockingly interconnected while the base (2) embraces the top part (3) at least transversal to the direction of the rabbet surfaces (31).
