An animal toilet that can be molded with low raw material cost, that is compact and easily stored and transported when packaged, and that is comfortable for animals. The animal toilet (1) has an upper container (10) and a lower container (20). The upper container (10) includes an opening for entry and exit of an animal and also has a liquid permeable bottom surface section on which granular substances are dispersedly placed. The lower container (20) includes a lower opening located below the bottom surface section, and also includes a receiving section for receiving a liquid absorption sheet placement container (30) that receives a liquid absorption sheet for absorbing liquid passed through the bottom surface section. A fitting section (14) fitting to a lower opening edge of the lower container (20) is provided at side faces or the bottom face of the upper container (10). Preferably, the fitting section (14) should be a stepped section or a recessed section.
