Apparatus for controlling engagement/disengagement of an electromagnetic friction-clutch coupling (10) arranged between a driving shaft (1) and a driven shaft (2), comprising means (121) for detecting the number of revolutions of the driven shaft, and means (140) for energizing the coupling (10) which can be activated/deactivated for a predefined constant total time interval (t2-t1), comprising control means (130) able to determine an activation time interval (t3-t1) such that 0≤(t3-t1)≤(t2-t1).
