The invention relates to a device for the purification of exhaust gases for an exhaust strand of an internal combustion engine, having an exhaust-gas duct which is of multi-flow design in a predefined region and which has a plurality of partial exhaust strands (4, 5), and having a dosing device (14), by means of which a predefined quantity of a reducing agent can be dosed into the exhaust-gas duct in the region upstream of a catalytic converter arrangement (7, 8) at predefined times. According to the invention, each of the partial exhaust strands (4, 5) is assigned a dosing duct (19, 20) which branches off from a single dosing device (14), wherein a predefined proportion of the dosed reducing agent quantity can be supplied via the dosing ducts (19, 20) to each partial exhaust strand (4, 5).
