摘要:
A magnetic toner having magnetic toner particles containing at least a binder resin and a magnetic material, wherein; in a test in which the magnetic toner is dispersed in 5 mol/liter hydrochloric acid to dissolve the magnetic material, and where the dissolution percentage of the magnetic material with respect to the total content of the magnetic material at a point of time of 3 minutes after the magnetic toner has begun to be dispersed in the hydrochloric acid is represented by S 3 (% by mass), the dissolution percentage of the magnetic material with respect to the total content of the magnetic material at a point of time of 15 minutes after the magnetic toner has →begun to be dispersed in the hydrochloric acid is represented by S 15 (% by mass) and the proportion S c of the dissolution level of the magnetic material at from 3 minutes to 15 minutes after the magnetic toner has begun to be dispersed in the hydrochloric acid, (V 3→15 ), to the dissolution level of the magnetic material at from 15 minutes to 30 minutes after the magnetic toner has begun to be dispersed in the hydrochloric acid, (V 15→30 ), is represented by S c (= V 3→15 /V 15→30 ), the S 3 , the S 15 and the S c satisfy the following expressions: 0.5 ≤ S 3 ≤ 10 , 40 ≤ S 15 ≤ 80 ; 1.2 ≤ S c ≤ 10 ;

the magnetic toner has a dielectric loss factor (tanδ) at 25°C and at a frequency 1.0 × 10 4 Hz, within the range of from 2.0 × 10 -3 or more to 1.5 × 10 -2 or less.
