The invention relates to a protector for road barrier rails and similar structures, said barriers including a plurality of supporting elements anchored to the ground or pavement, which, in the raised position, support a continuous line of longitudinal sections. The protector comprises a set of rotating rollers, disposed in the cavity between the ground or pavement and the longitudinal sections, having a suitable shape and dimensions to cover all or a large part of said cavity.
