A radio frequency identification (RFID) tag apparatus for controlling of identification distance, the apparatus including: a RFID tag chip storing RFID information; an antenna extracting the RFID information from the RFID tag chip to transmit the extracted RFID information to an RFID reader; and a switch setting the length of the antenna to determine whether to transmit the RFID information is provided.
