OXIDATION CATALYST AND OXIDATION CATALYST DEVICE FOR EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION
摘要:
An oxidation catalyst device 1 for exhaust gas purification according to the present invention has a porous filter substrate 2, and an oxidation catalyst carried on the porous filter substrate 2, wherein the porous filter substrate 2 has an inflow cell 4, an outflow cell 5, and a cell partition wall 6, and the oxidation catalyst is formed of a first catalyst layer 3a which is carried on a surface of the cell partition wall 6 in the inflow cell 4 side, and a second catalyst layer which is carried on the surface of a wall face of a pore 7 of the cell partition wall 6. The oxidation catalyst in each catalyst layer is formed of a porous body of a mixture of: a composite metal oxide which is represented by the chemical formula of Y 1-x Ag x Mn 1-y Ti y O 3 in which x and y satisfy 0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.30 and 0.005 ≤ y ≤ 0.30, respectively; and zirconium oxide. The oxidation catalyst device for exhaust gas purification according to the present invention can oxidize and combust particulates in the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine at a lower temperature and in a shorter period of time.
