The invention relates to a transmission oil circuit with an oil pump for conveying oil or another medium from an oil sump or associated media sump, comprising: a heat exchanger through which the oil flows in order to remove heat from the oil; with a working pressure valve, against which the oil pump conveys the oil in order to bring the conveyed oil to a predetermined working pressure for pressure actuating, pressure oil application or pressure oil supply of switching valves and/or other transmission components and/or other aggregates outside of the transmission that are arranged in the flow direction upstream from the working pressure valve in a row thereto or in the flow direction downstream from a supply line that branches upstream from the working pressure valve in the transmission oil circuit. The invention is characterized in that the heat exchanger can be switched in a first position upstream or in a second position downstream from the working pressure valve in an alternating manner regarding the sequence of the flow with oil originating from the oil pump, or the heat exchanger can be switched in a first position upstream or in a second position downstream from the switching valves, other transmission components and/or other aggregates or with an arrangement in or downstream from the branched supply line, upstream or downstream from the branching point regarding the sequence of the flow with oil originating from the oil pump in an alternating manner.
