摘要:
A patient care system comprising:
a patient care device (12) including a memory (56) for storing configuration data,
a network (10) in which is also connected means (30) storing at least one database comprising patient-specific information; and
means for selecting configuration data for said patient care device on the basis of patient-specific information characterized in that said memory (56) stores a plurality of configuration databases (200, 202, 204, 206), each of said configuration databases comprising a plurality of device operating parameters each representing a respective operating mode of the patient care device (12), said means for selecting (12) including means for selecting a configuration database from said plurality of configuration databases (200, 202, 204, 206), based at least in part on said patient-specific information, and in that the patient care device operates in the operating mode defined by the selected configuration database.
