An electrically conductive contact for electrically connecting an insulated conductor to an electrically conductive track of a printed circuit board, including bifurcate contact arms extending from a common section of the contact, an open end section of the contact arms being adapted to receive an end section of the insulated conductor, pierce the insulation and effect electrical connection therewith; and a fastener for electrically coupling the contact to the track of the printed circuit board, wherein the arms include torsion inhibitors for resiliently inhibiting movement of the arms about respective axes when the insulated conductor is forced there between.
