The invention relates to a method for separating insoluble components of sylvinite, in that the sylvinite is suspended in saturated salt solution, a coagulating agent is added to the suspension, and a foaming agent comprising a hydrocarbon radical having from 6 to 16 carbon atoms is added to the composition so obtained.
